I warmly welcome you to the Makerere University Hospital. The Hospital is the main facility for the Makerere University Health Services function. It is primarily intended to serve the Makerere University students and staff but also serves other private patients. Among the private patients the Hospital is particularly suited to serve corporate patients.
Through this website I wish to introduce to you the various Services that the Hospital offers and the various Clinics that it runs. Plans are underway to increase and improve the services and clinics that the Hospital offers. It offers both curative and preventive healthcare services.
The Hospital has an on going programme to renovate its infrastructure and also to modernise its equipment. It has a highly qualified and dedicated team of Medical, Administrative and Support staff. This whole package among other things is what ensures a high and assured quality of service for all people who visit the Hospital.
